Small black hackle used by the 1 Scots regiment. On March 2006, The Royal Scots joined with the other surviving Scottish Regiments to form the The Royal Regiment of Scotland. The 1st Battalion became The Royal Scots Battalion and on August that year It joined with the The King’s Own Scottish Borderer's to become The Royal Scots Borderer's, 1st Battalion. It is now know as The Royal Regiment of Scotland or 1 SCOTS.
